Finally the long wait is nearing its end with YaDig apps for iPhone and BlackBerry arriving soon. Arabian Business, the Middle East’s best selling weekly business magazine, covered the news about the imminent launch of the apps in addition to informing its huge reader base that YaDig is also eyeing expansion in its services. According to the report, YaDig.com will soon expand its review services from restaurants and entertainment categories to salons, financial services and healthcare providers. As unveiled in the report, the iPhone app will be launched anytime in the next two weeks while the application for BlackBerry will make us wait more for a whole month.
“With what we’re doing, you have to have a mobile app. They go hand in hand,” says Johnny, our CTO, in an interview to Arabian Business. Regarding YaDig’s expansion plans, both functionally and geographically, Saif, our CEO, enlightens Arabian Business in these words: “We want to expand to other markets – we’re GCC based, but we also want to spread to Jordan, Syria, the rest of the MENA region. We want to add [reviews for] medical services, financial services, salons – if you come to a city, would you know where to get your hair done? We’re expanding.”
